Despite the disappointment of not getting to compete for a world title last year, Amer Abdallah still intends to bring the belt back to Western New York.  This time, however, he has a new opponent.

Gareth Richards failed to show in October, so this time it is Dan Hughes who will be facing Abdallah for the WKA light heavyweight title.  The bout is scheduled to take place on May 14 in Lockport, NY.

While training at the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas, Abdallah spoke about the fight and what it means to him.
